Cup Cake SB Cards
These 3 cards are part of a series I did with my friend Sue. She came up with the idea and we played a little and decided on the 4831 cupcake / stripes SB card.
Originally all 3 were in the same card, but after a little trial and error we decided that the last card really 'popped' with the 4563 Dot / Daises SB card.
The butterflies are something I couldn't resist, I had a little fun with puffy tape on these to keep the wings up.
So this is a class that I will be teaching next Thursday at my Craigmore Class.
You will need a basic kit.
Cost for this class would be $25 if you would like to book it in, including the scallop hanging circle.
This needs ribbon and it is the wrong orientation. opps. You can see the hole. Well yes that is the top. :)

Friday End of Month - Panda Page
This page is a fun page that uses the rollergraph. This is the noodle design wheel that is one that I have always loved but struggle to find a good use for.
Well my friend Jan came up with this page and did a great job of it.
I really loved the fact that these are Christmas papers from the Kaszazz range. She has a fantastic imagination for using papers in ways that others wouldn't think to do.
Love your work Jan keep it up. :)
You will be stamping, heat embossing, paper layering, distressing with ink, paper tearing and matting. Really a little bit of everything in this page. The panda's are an optional element and you can substitute these for something different like a Chinese lady or fans on the day of the class. If you have a request let me know. I also have some Teddy Bears that would look nice.
You will need to bring a basic tool kit. But saying that if you have your cutter, supertape and scissors you will have all you need.
Time: 11 am or 7.30 pm
Place: Blakeview - email me for the address.
Date: Friday 30th April.
Cost: $25
There are a few spots available on both sessions.
If you want the evening session please be quick.
Hope you all like it.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

Boys Cards
Hi Everyone, been busy making a couple of cards. So I have put the pictures up for you with instructions. I have used my favorite Tim Holtz inks and bazzill. I have made these cards as I have a 40th birthday to go to this weekend and needed a card. I plan on adding a clear '40' to the top right of the card with the tools on it. Just have to use your imagination on that one.
Both cards are using the same principal but just different sizes and stamps. Easy enough to adapt to any theme and colour scheme.
I hope you enjoy making these cards.
If you have any questions or need to order any of the products please let me know.
For this card I used Parakeet Bazzill (4222) for the base card 9"x5". Score and fold at 4.5".
Pinecone Bazzill (4223) 4"x3 3/4"
Parakeet 4"x 1/2"
Oatmeal (9690) cardstock A5 4"x1 1/2"
and 1/2"x2"
Distress all edges of card with Walnut Stain Distress Ink (tim19534) and a sponge.
Stamp the Soccer (998LH) stamp in Peeled Paint Distress Ink (tim20233) over entire background of the parakeet.
Stamp the soccer stamp on the oatmeal card stock with the Walnut Stain.
Stamp "your the best" stamp from the mini messages friends (4260KK). Use a black gel pen to doodle the dots. The whole card is put together with 6mm supertape (1708). Basically I like to use super tape for most things because it is strong, no mess or drying time and simple to use.
Assemble the card as per the example.
This card uses Vintage Photo Distress Ink (tim19527), Parakeet Bazzill (4222), Nutmeg Bazzill (4462) and Lemonade Bazzill (4501), Tool boarder unmounted stamp (1700LH) and the 'happy birthday' from the mini messages friends (4260KK).
I hope you enjoy making these cards, I know I did!
