Spin me round round baby, one more time!

Yes I know I am a worry, but here is a photo frame I am doing for a kids party. I needed to design something that 11 year olds could handle, but I still wanted something funky.
I am sure they will love it. Hope you all do too. I will submit this one to Kaszazz so it will be available as a $25 class with consultants. I will be able to provide this as a kit for those who would like it. $25 plus postage. :)
The picture is of my beautiful friend Julee who passed away February this year from Motor Neuron Disease.
I think about her often and this sort of color combination would have been to her liking. She was such a splash of color in this world and her smile and laugh would light up a room.
So I hope you all like this and if you would like to know more about this mongrel disease please have a look at the link below.

Spin me round round baby!

Well I just have to say I LOVE SPINNER CARDS! These are so much fun to make and then even more fun to play with. The candy birthday card I did tonight and the Christmas Card I did a little while ago.
The center pieces spin as they move across the card.
My son has set a challenge for me. He wants a long one to play with. I am thinking 60's psychedelic theme. I will be doing a few more of these so watch this space.

Shabby Chic Door Hanger - THE Wendy Vecchi - Studio 490 Style Challenge

This is done with velum and my favorite inks.....yes Tim Holtz. I really enjoyed using the alterations dies that Tim has bought out. They cut through chipboard with out a second thought. Looking forward to buying more.
I have a page that I have created too using this as inspiration. I will post this a little later.

Well the weekend away was a success. Everyone had a wonderful time and got lots of scrapping done.People arrived from 3.30 on Friday afternoon and the last to arrive was about 8.30pm that night.
The tables were quickly covered with tools and projects and everyone was off and running.
We scrapped till about 12.30am and went to bed, then were up and at it from 7am the next morning. Some ladies took advantage of the sleep in. No kids to wake them. lol.
We had a great dinner our Saturday night and the food at the Coobowie Hotel is a big thumbs up.
Sunday we started packing up at about 1pm and were on the road by 3.30pm. All up it was a great weekend away and I want to thank all you girls for helping to make it such a fun weekend away. We will look forward to planing it again next year.

Distressed Little Golden Book

I made this up for my lovely girlfriend Michelle as per her request, so I thought I would share it with you.  It now has a swirl or 2 to go on from the wonderful Tim Holtz Range and the inside pages are done. It just needs photos. This will also be a class. So I will be interested to know who would like to do it and will run it either privately or as a Friday night class. Sorry for the orientation of the inside pages. For some reason only known to the web page it would only display the pictures this way. So just tilt you head!

Family Words Series - Torn Squares

This is a class that we did a while back but with slight;y different flowers. I re-did it with punched flowers and it has gone into Kaszazz with the family words series. The girls had a lot of fun doing this one. It is well worth the effort. Not particularly difficult either. As you can see you can get away with boys and girls.
This is still available as a class. Please contact me if you are interested in doing this.
Have a great evening.
